The ayurveda dosha test is performed by ayurvedic doctors, who study around 5 years in the university and are the people with the skills to do this kind of test. The determination of the body type is mostly done by pulse diagnosis but also includes the observation of eyes colours, tongue colour, hair type as well as nails and teeth characteristics.
According to Ayurveda, we are made of a combination of the five elements: fire, water, air, earth and space. These elements are the constitutions of the 3 doshas in Ayurveda: Vata, Pitta and Kapha.
The ayurveda dosha test help people to discover the doshas which are predominant in their body. They can be Vata, Pitta, kapha or a combination of these three.
