According to St Paul, we are to live out our baptism by having true love as the basis of everything we say, do and think. Then only can we love others authentically, sincerely and effectively. We can grow in the understanding of God’s Love by recognising and experiencing it through the scriptures, through prayer and the sacraments, and through family love.
