Finding old places in the woods to metal detect like cellar holes are sometimes hidden right in front of you. We went exploring for old farms and homesites going back to the 1700s and 1800s and found one in an area where a ton of trees had all been blown down in a storm. We all use the Fisher F19 metal detector and started swinging to see what we could find buried in the ground. Old buttons, spoons, coins and other relics where in the dirt.
