In this video, Cathy covers Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) and Vagus Nerve Stimulation (VNS). With ECT, she explains the indications, contraindications, medications used during the procedure, side effects, nursing care and patient teaching. For VNS, she includes coverage of the indications, side effects, and patient teaching. At the end, Cathy provides a quick 3 question quiz to test your understanding of some of the key concepts she presents.
