There were many mixed reactions to Terry Gilliam’s completed version of The Man Who Killed Don Quixote. Some felt it failed to live up to expectations. Over the course of this three-part video series, examining the project from inception to completion, we’ll postulate the ways in which Gilliam’s tireless quest for creation may have rendered the very idea of audience ‘expectation’ irrelevant.
