For the cream cheese filling:
- ⅔ cup cream cheese
- 1 vanilla bean pod
- 2 tbsp sugar
For the spiced apple filling:
- 2–3 red apples, sliced
- ⅔ cup slivered almonds, toasted
- cinnamon sugar
