Tutorial: Using Oils for Streaking, Discolouration, Dust, and Grime

Hello guys. This video is all about using oil paint to replicate general panel weathering. I show you how to simulate rust and grime streaks down the hull and discolouration to add interest to a monotone finish. I also show how to replicate grime and dust buildups about details.

Oils are also very useful for washes, and I have used them to make a heavily chipped winter whitewash along with some other products as well shown here:
