After moving to Germany, we transitioned our channel from strictly travel, to also talking about our experiences with German culture as Americans. We soon realized that we had joined a niche of Youtube channels in Germany doing the same thing, that are mainly being watched by Germans! Over the years I have asked the question, "why is 70% of our audience German when we are making videos about Germany? Wouldn’t people OUTSIDE of Germany be more interested in that?" After years of asking myself that, I have developed a couple of theories as to why this may be the case… 😊
